Responsibilities:
JOB FUNCTION This position will be a leader in the Corporate Engineering department physically located in the Bloomsburg, PA plant and will manage Corporate Engineering Department staff, The primary focus is the development and execution of engineering studies and capital projects in a timely and effective manner to support the goals and objectives of the company.
Will focus on Continuous Improvement of project installations and engineering processes.
Will be responsible for completing job duties in a manner that supports all Company safety, food safety, quality, and environmental practices.

recently announced an agreement to buy several pet food brands from The J.
M.
Smucker Co.
The transaction is anticipated to close early in the second calendar quarter of 2023.
Upon closing of the acquisition, Post expects to create a new pet food platform within Post Consumer Brands.
This role is part of the team of 1,000 employees who will soon join the Post family to focus on and grow these iconic pet brands.
JOB ACTIVITIES Provide direction and leadership for designated project engineering activities to ensure safe, timely, and cost effective solutions.
Directly manages assigned engineering staff members plus engineering consultants.
Manage performance of staff; monitor and provide feedback on results and behaviors.
Be a resource to staff.
Develop and train department staff in both technical and non-technical subject areas.
Develop engineering firm relationships, engineering strategy, and long-term plans.
Assist in sourcing staffing both internal and external as needed to develop and execute annual capital plans.
Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local ordinances pertaining to project activity.
Interface with other departments to resolve issues, gather input, and implement solutions.
Promotes the continuous improvement process.
Prioritize, execute and monitor project work to deliver against safety, quality, start-up and cost targets.
Work closely with other departments to align strategies and tactics for optimizing the availability of production lines.

Education:
B.
S.
(or higher) in Engineering or equivalent work experience Key Skills:
Must have a Safety 1st mind set.
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience managing others/teams.
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Have strong analytical and business judgment including demonstrated problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
Have ability to develop and evaluate alternative solutions or options to complex situations and/or projects.
Possess strong coaching and interpersonal skills and be able to manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
